Patrick Atim Etim Inyang,

There is no way of knowing the name of the Nigerian scammer who is sending out the hay scam e-mails from Nigeria.  We have tagged him as "Patrick" because he asks for money to be wired to various versions of Patrick Atim Etim Inyang, The Nigerian Patrick Inyang died  Jan.26,  2005 in Nigeria.  However, someone in the US is picking up the Western Union money that is sent to that name.

or further combinations of those names and initials means the scammer is one we arbitrarily call "Patrick".   Most of these names come within the message "Please wire money to:"   We try to string the scammer along far enough to also get the "Hauler" e-addy to expand the following set of associations:

All messages that contain references to "Patrick" (see above) means that all the messages come from the same scammer.
All the different e-addys used by "Patrick" then are tied to the label   "Patrick".
All the 'hauler's" names are then tied to "Patrick
All hauler's' e-addys are then tied to "Patrick"
All e-mails that use e-addys that have been used by Hauler are then tied to "Patrick"
All mailing, wire-to, or physical locations using any of the above tags in a message are then tied to "Patrick"
Any '1st contact' e-addy that ends up using a "Patrick" or "Patrick" hauler's name or e-addys is then tied to "Patrick" and all future uses of the new '1st contact' e-addys are then tied to "Patrick" and so forth in an ever expanding ring of associations.

Since there is now a link (see lower on the page) between anything containing "Carre" and tag "Patrick",  now all messages and tags between them are now tied together.  Anything that has contained "Carre" is now considered to be "Patrick"

The  majority of these hay scams have been coming from "Patrick". (who incidentally is also scamming Craig's list:    minneapolis.craigslist.org/car/664317961.html ) and is offering to sell Puppies under the name of Carter, Danna, 490 Audubon Ave, Manhattan, NY,10033,  Phone 212-928-1273 ( see Example-39 for "Puppies scam" warning at www.terrificpets.com/scams/,   and more information)

Notice the 156 Biltmore Ave., Elmont,  N.Y. return address (this is listed as Marie P & Andre Carrie, see below) .  See also Example #20 for this same address and Example #17 for 156 Baltimore Ave, Elmont, NY

Return address on FedEx package (above)  has a phone number at the top (212)928-1273 which is listed as  Patrick Inyang, 430 Audubon Ave, New York, NY 10033-2710

Here we have the classic " Patrick Atim Etim Inyang "   asking to have you wire money to an address.  The interesting fact here is that when we chase the details of the address:

we come up with "Carre" and that name has come up several times in the past.

"Carre" has shown up as Mr. Carre (shipper),   contactcarre@yahoo.com, Carrecontact@, ( from example-1)
"From" Carre Kenneth (return addresses) , Regional manager Carre Bullies, (Typical first contact), PATRICK ETIM INYANG, Carre Kenneth, Manager Sakima Kennel -  Carre Bullies (all from Example-5 ), "Orama Kennel" signed "Thank you,Carre " (typical second or third contact), "I stay with my cousin Handhel Carre!" (Example-20 )

and a tie between the 156 Biltmore Ave, Elmont, NY. 11003 address and Inyang continues through the return address on the FedEx package containing the counterfeit check that was sent by Gary Ritz in (Example-20 ) and continues in Example -30 with Lilian & Cole

Another connection that needs to be chased is "Osehon" as this have been used by "Patrick" on several occasions and is associated with a Miami Florida address 6 115 N.Howard, Miami Fl, 3319

"Patrick" for a while was fond of using "laxix" as part or all of his psudo-name and or e-mail addy. (One meaning of "Laxix" is "Great One")

We now know that every couple days he checks to see if anything new has been published on the web about "Patrick Inyang" etc. because he is Googling for that name and occasionally lands at this web site.  On May 9, '08 he spent 55 minutes checking on things. Here is part of the server that is set to log page requests from Nigeria

We also know he has an AOL account and uses it to read e-mail from the scams he sends through www.mail.com  (liliancole@luckymail.com, garyritz@luckymail.com, mattewart@switched.com, etc.)
